My name is Aaron Dawson and I am former professional hockey player whose new passion is helping people reach their health and fitness goals. Whether you are a top level athlete or a person who simply wants to get back into the gym, I am here for you. I understand that gyms can be intimidating and losing weight and gaining muscle can be challenging – my goal is to help you overcome hurdles and reach your goals.

Shelley has been involved in athletics her whole life and she thrives on keeping fitness in her busy life as a way to inject energy into everything she does. Currently, Shelley is adding to the fitness knowledge she has gained over the years by becoming certified as a person trainer and a fitness nutrition coach. Shelley is passionate about assisting people to incorporate exercise into their daily routine to help them reach their fitness goals and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Bootcamp

Alyssa teaches bootcamp classes here at Hustle! Fitness has been an enormous part in her life as she was a competitive gymnast for thirteen years and is currently in school studying to become a large animal vet. She attended the 2019 Canada Games for gymnastics and has podiumed at numerous Atlantics and Eastern championships. Alyssa has been a member of Hustle Athletics for three years and loves to encourage others towards their own personal fitness goals with a bubbly and optimistic personality!

Yoga Instructor

Karen is trained in traditional yoga philosophy of Sri T. Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar. She combines her knowledge of yoga, mental health nursing, and teaching to deliver a class appropriate for anyone to maximize results for personal overall health and wellness. Her style creates a connection of breath to movement that will ease tension in your body and relax your mind regardless of experience level. Karen believes poses can be modified to strengthen and stabilize core muscle groups by adapting the pose to your body, never your body to the pose.

Spin Instructor

In March of 2019, on a work trip to Toronto, Jillian completed her first ever SoulCycle class. Upon returning home, she immediately Googled “how to become a spin instructor”. In June 2019, Jillian received her Indoor Cycling Certification from the Indoor Cycling Association and has been teaching spin at Hustle ever since. As a life-long learner, Jillian has taken continuing education credits to better her classes. Presently, Jillian is taking her Rockstar Instructor Certification with SpinU. What can you expect at one of Jillian’s classes? Jillian strives for a class that is warm, welcoming, and full of energy. She believes music is a huge part of indoor cycling and uses it to motivate and push riders to their limits. Jillian provides challenges for those who want to take it to the next level while offering modifications and support for beginners. Jillian’s goal is to have riders leave her class stronger, smiling and wanting to come back for more. While her ride profile and music change every ride, one thing stays the same, her energy.

Through smiles, motivation, reminders to breathe and keep good form, and all-around badassery, Jillian will push you past your limits to reach new goals and dreams you never thought possible. During class, you will become instantly energized while growing to be the best version of yourself. Ride with Jillian for a good sweat and a good time. She will not only help you reach your goals but to crush them too.

In Jillian’s indoor cycling classes, you are part of something bigger. We ride together as one team; we build energy together. We start together. We finished together. Always remember, Smile: it makes you look younger and feel lighter.

Spin and Zumba Step Instructor

Karen has a love of teaching, music and fitness. By becoming a fitness instructor, it has enabled her to blend all of these passions together. Karen first became certified in Zumba and Zumba Step and most recently became a certified Spinning instructor. Karen uses her education and music degrees to help her create music driven classes that make people feel welcome and at ease all while getting a great workout.
